Reading Photo Information
Properties panel
Select one image and open the Properties tab on the right. Below Keywords, LunaFinder shows information read from the file.
These sections are read-only—you cannot edit them inside LunaFinder. They help you confirm camera settings, dates, and embedded descriptions.
Sections you may see

Not every photo has these filled in—it depends on the camera or export settings.

Location
GPS or location-related metadata, if the image contains it and your privacy settings allowed it when the photo was taken.
Technical
Details such as:
- Camera make and model
- Lens
- Exposure, aperture, ISO
- Dimensions and format-related data
Useful for photographers comparing shots from the same session.
Thumbnail in the panel
At the top of the placeholder area, a preview thumbnail of the selected image appears when one image is selected.
Multiple files selected
When more than one image is selected, the Properties panel focuses on Keywords only for bulk editing. Select a single file again to see full metadata sections.
