File Properties Window
Open File Properties
With one file selected (image or other file in the grid):
- Press ⌘ I, or
- Right-click the file → Show Properties
A File Properties window opens.
What the window shows
Thumbnail and identity
- A thumbnail when available
- Filename
- Full path on your Mac
Image information
For photos:
- Dimensions in pixels (width × height)
- File size in a human-readable format
Keywords
If the image has LunaFinder keywords, they appear as a comma-separated list in a Keywords section.
Closing the window
Click Close or press Esc.
When to use this window
- Quickly confirm the file path before sharing or backing up
- Check resolution before sending to a client
- Read keywords without scrolling the side panel
For editing keywords, use the Properties tab on the right instead—the File Properties window does not add or remove tags.
