Activation problems

No folder or empty grid

| Folder open but empty | Confirm images are in supported formats (JPEG, PNG, TIFF, common RAW types) |
| Expected files missing | Click Refresh; check Finder that files exist |
Search issues

| No search results | Try different words; for AI, rephrase description |
| Search button disabled | Open a folder first; enter text in search field |
| Stuck in search view | Click Clear in the search bar |
| Refresh disabled | Clear search or Clear tag filter first |
AI Search issues
| Symptom | Try this |

| No AI checkbox in header | Enable AI in Settings → AI Search |
| Model not ready | Wait for download; check internet (~600 MB) |
| Poor matches | Run Reindex All Images; wait for indexing count to rise |
| “No images found in project” | Open Folder before reindexing |
| Download failed | Use Redownload Model in Settings |

| Tag list empty | Add at least one keyword to a photo |

Preview and copy

| Paste empty in another app | Use Copy Image, not Copy Path |
| Copy failed in viewer | File may be unreadable; check drive connection |
Rename and delete

| Rename error alert | Name may be invalid or file in use by another app |
| Delete error alert | Check permissions; file may be locked |
| Accidental delete | Restore from Mac Trash if not yet emptied |
Remember: rename and delete affect real files on disk.
Updates

| Install failed | Retry Restart & Install or download from website |
